Understand the decree banning events in Station Square

On December 10 the city of Belo Horizonte issued a decree banning any kind of events at Station Square, from January 1, 2010.
The rationale presented in the Decree 13.798/09 (from 09 December), is supported by Article 31 of the Municipal Organic Law. The paper considers the difficulty in limiting the number of people and ensure public safety at events in the Square and also the looting of public property - verified due to the completion of recent events.
